We anticipate the need for one or more Apprentice (5th Step or higher)/Journeyman Lineman at our Hudson Service Center in Hudson, WI. The position will be posted for 15 Working Days from September 13th, 2023, to October 3rd, 2023. The Journeyman rate of pay for this position is $53.31 hourly. Depending on what step you'll be coming in as, the following is the pay structure:

5th Step: 80% of Journeyman rate

6th Step: 85% of Journeyman rate

7th Step: 90% of Journeyman rate

8th Step: 95% of Journeyman rate

Summary
Primary responsibilities consist of but are not limited to installation, maintenance and removal of overhead and underground distribution conductors and equipment. Must be able to climb poles, work on energized conductors and equipment, perform hot stick work on energized high voltage conductors, work in inclement weather, be available for callout work and all other work as outlined in the lineman position.

Required

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Technical School Lineman degree is preferred
• Must presently be qualified to be an Adanced Step/Journeyman Lineman and have a working knowledge of all phases of Distribution and Transmission Construction, Maintenance and Operating
• Must have good communication and teamwork skills
• Requires participation in after-hour emergency callouts in all kinds of weather conditions
• Experience with bucket trucks, digger derricks, trenchers and groundwork with utility line crew required
• A high awareness of safety and compliance with company safety rules is required at all times
• Must reside within 20 miles of the Hudson Service Center.
• Must be committed to working safely
• Must meet driver qualification requirements as specified in FMCSR parts 382 and 391 including the possession of a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A
