Job Summary:

Star Tribune Media Company LLC seeks a full-time News Data Software Engineer. This role plays a critical part in developing, enhancing, and maintaining our state-of-the-art News Data Systems. Req: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field and five (5) years related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) software development experience. Must also have 24 months of experience with each of the following: (1) analyzing code to find causes of errors and revising programs or systems; (2) practicing Agile development methods and scrum processes; (3) conducting software code reviews and testing to ensure it meets business requirements; (4) designing, developing, and maintaining software components; and (5) working with web application and programming languages, including: PHP, Laravel, JavaScript, NodeJS, React Native, and GraphQL.
