About this position

The Provider Education Coordinator will provide critical operational support for the North Memorial Health (NMH) Graduate Medical Education (GME) Office. This role is responsible for overseeing the on-boarding and off-boarding processes for medical students, professional students, residents, and fellows. Key responsibilities include coordinating academic affiliation agreements, recruiting trainees, managing projects, and analyzing and maintaining databases. The Provider Education Coordinator will also be responsible for data reporting to both internal and external agencies.
In addition, this role will cultivate and sustain relationships with academic institutions, facilitating student rotations with various GME programs, and internal department stakeholders. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with multiple parties to enhance the educational experience and operational efficiency of the GME Office.

• Bachelor's degree in health care related field or business, or five years’ experience in lieu of degree.

• Two (2) years’ experience in higher education, medical education, or academic medical center coordinating programs.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Proficient in the use of all Microsoft Suite products
• Exceptional customer service, interpersonal, organizational, business communication and time management skills.

• Strong interpersonal and oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated skills in teamwork to effectively work with others to achieve business objectives.
• Demonstrated problem solving, critical thinking and judgment skills to anticipate potential problems, identify problems when they occur and potential solutions. Make recommendations regarding solutions/ seek permission to act on recommendation.
• Proficiency in computer technology, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and intranet and internet capabilities.
