Warehouse Operator/CDL Driver

Pay: $26.50

Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:00PM - 10:30PM (10-hour shifts during peak season) Weekends/Overtime as needed. Other shift coverage will be required at times for coverage purposes.

Location: Camp Hill, PA

As a Warehouse Operator/CDL Driver, you will be a valued team member who will perform tasks essential to our Purina Distribution Center in Camp Hill, PA and warehouse operations: coordinate inbound/outbound deliveries, pack and load product using a forklift, organize storage areas, assist with cycle counts, and maintain a safe, clean work area. You will also operate a semi-truck with trailer for transportation of animal nutrition materials. You will transport between our feed facility and distribution center. Valid commercial driver’s license is required.

This role is part of our Purina Animal Nutrition business helping our network of local cooperatives, independent dealers and other large retailers serve producers, and animal owners throughout the United States. Key Responsibilities:

  • Ability to operate a forklift

  • Complies with all safety processes and insists on safety practices of self and others

  • Shows up on time, completes tasks by deadlines, and adapts to changes quickly

  • Processes work orders by selecting correct products from racks, palletizing them, shrink-wrapping, and staging the product order for delivery

  • Able to multi-task and keep up with warehousing demands in a fast-paced environment

  • Ensures all standard operating procedures are followed

  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of work area

Required Experience:

  • Current driver’s license

  • Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)

  • 1+ years of commercial driving experience

  • Must be 18 years or older

  • 6+ months of work experience in any industry

Physical Requirements for production positions regularly include:

  • Able to lift 60lbs

  • Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements

  • Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment

  • Working across temperature zones that may include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include work in environments where dust is present

  • Shift schedules that include days, nights, and weekends, some holidays and periodic overtime
