As a part of our manufacturing group, you will be responsible for storage of raw material, ingredients and finished products, inbound and outbound shipments, and supporting production needs.

What your compensation and benefits will look like:

  • $22.66-Start Rate (T1)
  • $25.91-$42.94 (T2-T5)

What your day will look like:

    • Troubleshoot problems with machinery and partner with maintenance staff to resolve issues
    • Calibrate processing and packaging systems daily to meet required specifications
    • Participate in startup, changeover, and shut down of operating equipment
    • Removing and replacing motors, starters, belts, bearings, chains, and other manufacturing parts
    • Operating forklift equipment safely to move materials and products throughout the plant
    • Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives to increase platform performance
    • Assist in training new employees

What your schedule will look like:
Schedule:

  • 12.5-hour shifts with 3-2-2 schedule
  • 5:30 am to 6:00 pm (day shift)
  • 5:30 pm to 6:00 am (night shift)
  • Shift rotation every 6 months (day to night or night to days)
  • On-off pattern is 3 days on shift followed by 2 days off shift, 2 days on shift
  • Cycle length is 2 weeks
  • Plant operation is 24 hours per day, 7 days per week

What you have to offer:

  • Minimum of a high school education or GED
  • Experience in a manufacturing/production environment desired
  • Mechanical and/or electrical capability/experience desired

Physical requirements:

  • Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling, and twisting over surfaces
  • Ability to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platforms
  • Ability to wear protective clothing and equipment such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, a hard hat, a hair/beard net and gloves when required
  • Willing and able to adhere to all grooming requirements necessary for a food manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet environmental working conditions
  • Willing to work around industrial high-speed moving machinery
  • Ability to work with allergens that might be present in a food environment
