Federal Reserve Bank of St. LouisSupervision Learning is a national, virtual team that supports the Federal Reserve System Supervision examiner training programs. Supervision Learning is looking for an Instructional Design Manager. You will report to a Supervision Learning Officer, and will lead an instructional design team responsible for the design, development, and delivery the examiner commissioning programs, and interventions for other learning needs. As part of the Instructional Design leadership team, you will work collaboratively to set vision and direction to enhance the impact of instructional design for our learners. You will work onsite in our St. Louis, MO office.

Responsibilities

  • Coach and develop 5 – 7 instructional designers, which includes clarifying performance expectations, delivering ongoing feedback, and promoting personal growth opportunities.
  • Represent the craft of instructional design on business line leadership team.
  • Provide oversight on all phases of projects, including resource allocation, design quality, communication, identifying risks, and participation in client engagement meetings.
  • Collaborate with other Instructional Design managers to set learning standards and strategies for products and curricula enhancement.
  • Collaborate with leaders across the organization to ensure the consistent understanding and execution of the Supervision Learning strategic direction, including leading and participating in various groups.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or commensurate experience; Advanced degree in learning or closely related field preferred.
  • 5 years of related work experience, including 3 years’ experience managing or influencing teams.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and make decisions absent of complete information.
  • Ability to build effective, engaged teams.
  • Comfortable working in a virtual team atmosphere.
  • Travel approximately 5%.
  • Candidates with less experience may be considered at a lower job grade or salary.
  • Must be located within or willing to relocate to St. Louis.

Salary: 100,000-130,000
