The Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis is looking for a skilled HR Data Analyst to support the People Analytics function in our Human Resources & Inclusion (HRI) department.

In this role, you will be primarily responsible for maintaining and validating human capital data within Workday, creating reports and dashboards in Tableau and Excel, and providing ad-hoc analytical support that helps the organization inform decision making that aligns with our strategic direction and meets our objectives.

This is a hybrid position. The Bank believes in flexibility to balance the demands of work and life while also recognizing the necessity of connecting and collaborating with our colleagues in person. Onsite work is an essential function of this position, and you are expected to be in the office 3 days per week for meetings and team collaboration.

What you’ll do:

  • Maintain, update, and ensure accuracy of employee data within Workday, including but not limited to new hires, separations, organizational changes, and demographic information.

  • Create and maintain dynamic reports and dashboards in Tableau and Excel to help leaders across the organization consume data in easy to understand and actionable ways.

  • Work with internal and cross-functional groups to enhance our data analytic processes, increase subject matter knowledge, and produce higher quality analysis.

  • Assist with employee listening programming, including analysis and interpretation of survey results.

  • Provide on-going and ad-hoc support to functional users of human capital data.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

  • One year of related experience or an equivalent combination of higher education and experience. (Three years of experience or an equivalent combination of higher education and experience required for level II.)

  • Expert-level proficiency in Excel and Tableau (or equivalent data visualization software).

  • Experienced with Workday HCM (or similar), including recruiting, talent management, and workforce planning modules.

  • Self-starter who can independently identify and solve problems.

  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information.

  • Critical thinker with the ability to understand how data relates to business operations.

  • Ability to manage projects and competing priorities.

Additional Information:

This position is posted internally as a Business Analyst I/II.

Full Salary Range for Business Analyst I: $52,200 - $65,210 - $78,300

Full Salary Range for Business Analyst II: $64,100 - $80,159 - $96,200

Salary offer will be based on qualifications/experience of the candidate, alignment with market data, the needs of the position, our total compensation package, and internal equity.
