About the Opportunity

As a Senior Manager of the Cloud Solution Services Chapter reporting to the Cloud Solution Services Vice President in a hybrid in-office fashion, you blend analyst, software and platform engineering knowledge with a passion for coaching, mentoring, and developing people. You are committed to improving the value delivered to our customers by collaborating with other leaders and Product Managers to establish standards for your chapter, influencing strategic decisions and building high-quality software solutions. In this growth opportunity role you will directly manage a team of chapter members who work within autonomous squads across product areas. You are committed to developing your own expertise and empowering others by bringing the latest thinking to your role.

Qualifications:

  • Ensuring chapter talent composition and workforce planning aligns with strategic priorities

  • Support and empower chapter members to promote delivery of increased value in their teams through continuous improvement and learning

  • Enable an agile and rounded organization by demonstrating agile behaviors

  • Proactively partner with other Chapter and Product leaders to:

    • Influence strategic backlog and prioritization decisions

    • Measure performance through established goals

    • Align chapter members across squads and product areas to ensure the best use of talent

    • Guide resource planning to align with product roadmaps.

    • Increase adoption of DevOps best practices, empower teams to automate, promote process improvement, toil reduction and develop capabilities to measure code quality, test coverage and defect management

    • Set and apply standards and ensure the work performed is aligned with established road maps

    • Remove impediments to delivering value

    • Share insights, knowledge, industry practices and developments across the organization

The Expertise & Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of experience building multiple components of scalable enterprise applications

  • 5+ years experience developing technical team(s) within a product-centric organization

  • Experience creating strategy and organizational change management.

  • Experience with Agile methodology and tools

  • Decision-making experience using a data-focused approach in daily leadership situations and strategic tradeoff analyses

  • Adapt continuous delivery-based engineering practices

  • Familiarity with running software on Cloud Service Providers like Amazon Web Services or Azure

  • Financial services experience is preferred

  • The national hiring range for the Senior Manger- Cloud Solutions Services is $140,400- $193,050 annually. For candidates in certain markets (Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; Los Angeles, CA; New York City Metro Area, Philadelphia, PA; San Francisco, CA; Seattle, WA), the listed hiring and salary ranges may be adjusted based on your geographic location.
