Under the direction of the Nashville REIN Director and the Regional Executive, you will support our regional team by managing key office operations while also providing high-level support for our Nashville Regional Executive. You will lead and provide support for key projects, as well as develop working relationships within the team, department, division, and with other business partners throughout the Atlanta Fed’s footprint. You will need to be adept at coordinating and communicating with business executives, and have an agile and strategic mindset to work proactively with and across the REIN team and the broader Atlanta Fed. You also will play an important role in working with our Board of Directors and Fed Advisory Councils.

You will contribute to the direction of the Research division and Bank by ensuring that work is aligned with the Bank’s strategic priorities, including the Bank’s strategic priority around economic mobility and resilience. This position is located in Nashville, TN and will be a hybrid in-office/remote role.


Key Responsibilities

Nashville Branch operations

  • Responsible for Nashville branch operations. Serves as liaison with building management and related vendors. Serves as Nashville’s liaison to various internal Atlanta Fed departments to ensure branch operations are aligned with that of the Atlanta Fed and that Nashville-based employees are supported by departments as needed. Actively initiates and participates in ongoing process improvement and solution discussions around Nashville branch operations.

  • Arranges and coordinates logistical and administrative details around on- and off-site events, meetings, and conferences for the Nashville branch, including for the Nashville Branch Board of Directors and Atlanta Fed advisory council(s). Oversees event management functions and external vendors inclusive of catering, facilities, technology and communication.

Nashville REIN and full Atlanta Fed REIN team support

  • Provides administrative coordination for the Nashville Regional Executive and Nashville team, including travel management, expense reconciliation, calendar management and scheduling, and other tasks as needed.

  • Supports local strategy around contact management through direct relationship development as well as contact information management in customer relationship management (CRM) software. Serves as the first point of contact between the Nashville REIN team and top business and community executives and their assistants across the region through meeting scheduling and other types of contact interface, exercising highly professional communication, thoroughness, and accuracy. Supports ongoing efforts to expand the reach and diversity of the team’s contact network in Tennessee through ongoing contact research and maintains a comprehensive view of Tennessee contact relationships through reports and other visualization.

  • Provides project coordination on strategic assignments, including, but not limited to, consolidation, centralization, and making more efficient the various administrative functions for local office and for REIN department as needed, utilizing strong organizational abilities and written and verbal communication skills.


Education
Bachelor’s degree or four years equivalent experience preferred

Experience
Ideal candidate will have five to eight years of experience. Prior experience coordinating activities with senior executives and their assistants preferred.

Knowledge Areas/Technical Skills

  • Excellent executive-level written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong project management and organizational skills

  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) proficiency

  • Experience with CRM applications preferred
