The National Application Programming Interface Service Gateway team (API SG), shares an entrepreneurial mindset when it comes to tackling complex problems within a large enterprise organization. The Federal Reserve System is undergoing a digital transformation to optimize how we drive business outcomes. API SG supports this by simplifying application architecture, accelerating integration between applications and data, and improving developer productivity within the Federal Reserve System. API SG's Platform caters to the entire life cycle of an API, from design and prototyping, through development and testing, onto management and engagement and works with every aspect of the FRS mission.



What you will Learn

Vision: Think big to identify steps to achieve a vision while never losing sight of user/customer's needs.

Data and metrics: Identify and synthesize potential core product metrics and analytics to measure project/product/team success.

Prioritization: Build frameworks to sequence work and stay focus on delivering towards the highest impact.

Execution: Understand what it takes to deliver impact, meet product requirements, track towards milestone, identify risks, resolve blockers, and make difficult decisions about trade-offs all while moving quickly and managing scoop.

Communication & Collaboration: Build cross-functional relationships with customers, external vendors, and engineers to align folks on a strategy and motivate your team to deliver great results.

Technical & Design Skills: Establish a foundation of innovative technology and design thinking to better understand how to solve problems.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Self-starter, Critical thinker and problem solver

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail and deadlines

  • Ability to balance multiple assignments and shift gears when new priorities arise

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong collaboration skills

  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Residency

  • Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing in a U.S. community College or University

Hourly Range: Min: $22.00 - Mid: $28.00 - Max: $30.00 (Location: San Francisco)

Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
