Vice President, Regional Executive (Seattle, WA)

The Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco has a terrific leadership opportunity to be a Face-of-the-Fed in our Seattle, WA region and oversee the development and facilitation of the Board of Directors. Located in our Seattle office, this role will also support and cultivate the culture and own the administration of the local FRBSF team.

In alignment with our mission and vision to be a community engaged organization, this leadership opportunity will have the opportunity to:

  • Actively represent the Fed in the community through strong and ongoing engagement activities which build and champion relationships with leading business, banking, community, and educational leaders
  • Support the District’s engagement initiatives and the outreach of senior bank leaders by crafting business relationships with influential business contacts
  • Build a robust Board of Director’s pipeline for the local Branch by actively engaging with influential and diverse business, banking and community leaders with insight into the trends and issues impacting the economy of the local region
  • Facilitate effective and mutually beneficial Branch Board meetings; offer thought leadership to enhance the meeting structure/content as applicable
  • Be an exemplar of and advocate for the District’s strategy and engage in work that develops the Bank’s world-class public service provider vision.

Qualities for Success:

  • A successful track record of demonstrated independence, initiative and influence
  • Excellent written, speaking and verbal presentation skills, resulting in the ability to connect with a range of external parties, particularly at the C-suite level, and audiences across the organization and in the community
  • Facilitate discussion and understanding of economic issues and monetary policy activities with board members and external contacts
  • Ensure the Branch maintains an effective Business Continuity plan
  • Travel from 20% - 50% required to accomplish outreach goals

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience; advanced degree preferred
  • Typically, 15+ years of relevant experience; typically requires 12+ years of dynamic people and business leadership; additional preferred experience includes proven public speaking, outreach, and C-suite engagement

Hiring Salary Range: Seattle: Min: $237,800 Mid: $314,600 Max: $384,200

Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
