North Memorial Health Care Pipeline Development Program offers on-the-job training.
North Memorial Health in partnership with Emerge is offering program consultation and eligibility assessments for individuals interested in one of the following career opportunities: Sterile Processing, Medical Assistant/LPN and Surgical Technology.
Program Overview
This program aligns efforts with expectations of the state to employ and reduce barriers to health care careers for underprivileged individuals. This program serves as a creative solution in developing a workforce that better reflects those we serve.
This program serves as a pipeline to recruit and train individuals who have traditionally been excluded from healthcare careers, provide them with the education to follow a clinical career pathway, and offer support to address the structural and personal barriers that have traditionally kept them from successfully completing academic and training programs.
The target participant of this program are unemployed/underemployed residents of Hennepin County who identify as BIPOC with a low income.
