Hiring Bonus: $2500

You will receive a sign-on bonus of $500.00 after 60 days of employment. After six months of employment, you will receive a $1,000.00 retention bonus, and after one year of employment you'll receive your second payment of your retention bonus of $1,000.00. All totaled you will receive $2,500.00 in sign-on and retention bonuses.

(Start and End times may vary based on production needs. Schedule is 10 days on, 4 days off. 6 days start time will be 650am, 4 days start time will be 11am)

Overtime: Eligible for overtime after 8 hours

Schedule: 10/4 rotating

Wage: $24.49 hour

  • Sunday premiums
  • Full Benefits start day one.

Job Description:

This role is at a Dairy Foods manufacturing facility for Land O’Lakes, creating dairy products that stand for real, simple goodness. We believe there’s power in every drop of milk our farmers produce, and by improving production and finding innovative uses for that milk, we add a little good to people’s lives.

EDUCATON:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 6 plus months of solid work experience in any industry
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to follow manufacturer's specifications and direction

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 18 years or older
  • Able to trouble shoot mechanical problems.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work in cold and/or hot temperatures throughout the day.
  • Adhere to all standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge in their functions and ability to troubleshoot and fix system issues is preferred.
  • Self-reliant and able to accurately work under limited supervision.
  • Ensures a safe working environment while performing assigned tasks.
  • Customer focused and able to work in a collaborative team.
  • Ability to be flexible in work performed and schedule.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions and possess basic mathematical skills
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 55 lbs.
  • Must possess or obtain a WDATCP Weigher’s and Samplers’ License before training is completed.
  • Must train and pass in plant antibiotic testing procedures to satisfy Appendix N regulations to become and approved Screener for antibiotics in milk before training is completed.
  • Must obtain State certification for Charm SL Beta-Lactam as an Industry Supervisor and Certified Lab Analyst when state training and testing is available.
  • Must have the ability to operate computer applications that apply to operations, including but not limited to MPIS

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience communicating work order progress to supervisor and production operators
  • Knowledge of various pieces of high tech food manufacturing processing and packaging equipment. Examples include but are not limited to baggers, palletizers, and cookers.

Physical Requirements for production positions regularly include:

  • Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements.
  • Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment
  • Working across temperature zones that may include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include work in environments where dust is present.
  • Shift schedules that include days, nights, and weekends, some holidays and periodic overtime.
