Job Overview
The Commercial Execution team is seeking a Business/Technical Analyst to join the team in support of our customer data and category management platforms. The role would be responsible for providing support for enhancements of our third-party vendor applications, support data mining from our customer base, and create internal capabilities and reporting from multiple databases. To achieve this, the analyst would build partnerships and work directly with the business and cross functional partners, including T+S resources, to gather requirements, determine technical deliverable estimates, and problem solve support issues.
The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, solid business acumen, and be able to work and make decisions in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction
Role Responsibilities
• Accountable for learning third party applications, internal reporting, system and business process, rules, and logic, as well as developing knowledge of system data architecture
• Work directly with the business to gather detailed business requirements and apply sound technical solutions to build and test functional specifications and implement and maintain reporting and functionality.
• Provide timely, personal, and efficient response to user problems and inquiries.
• Work within agile product team to develop user stories and tasks within the analyst's workstream.
• Apply Agile Methodology to deploy change requirements via preferred methods accounting for priorities, time, and resources.
• Perform data quality checks and clearly communicate to business teams existing problems with proposed solutions and timing.
• Analyzing data sources to determine how to connect them in our big data environment.
• Own documentation, troubleshooting, support, and coordination with team
• Serve as the day-to-day contact for the team on clarification of requirements and drive user stories.
Must - have technical skills and experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Analytics role
• Strong experience in exploring and analysing large data sets using Excel and SQL to understand patterns, structures, and definition.
• Hands on experience working with SQL.
• Experience in supporting systems using Oracle and PL/SQL
• Proven experience as a Developer with expertise in Azure, GCP, and AWS.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and identify problem trends.
• Strong communication skills- verbal and written with ability to present complex messages and trade-offs and tell a compelling story.
• Self-managing, results-oriented, and capable of leading multiple initiatives simultaneously through rigorous prioritization
