OVERVIEW

As a Region Manager (RM) in North America Foodservice (NAF), your main priority will be leading, coaching and developing a team of 7 sales professionals to drive growth and exceed sales program. You’ll be responsible for designing a Region strategy that complements our Zone, National, and Segment strategies. You’ll join your sales team in building deep partnerships with a broad customer base selling products across the portfolio and delivering solutions in the marketplace.

The established Region is currently positioned for steady, sustainable growth. To maximize results, the Region needs a leader to manage a go to market strategy and team expectations that executes through changing market dynamics and positions General Mills for success across all Foodservice channels.

Relocation assistance will be provided to Charlotte, NC, if the candidate does not already reside within the North or South Carolina.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Business Planning & Executional Excellence

  • Achieve Volume Growth (mid-single digits) through creation of a long-term vision and strategy for your Region
  • Leverage Salesforce as a tool to set expectations and accountability with all team members
  • Consistently evaluate your Region’s strategy and execution, pivoting when necessary.
  • Problem solve to maximize your team’s growth opportunities.
  • Act as a liaison between your field team and cross-functional/headquarters partners to resource for solutions.
  • Think beyond the boundaries of the role and challenge the status quo.
  • Partner on ad hoc project work to help shape Zone and National go to market strategies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Innovation & Strategy – Ability to innovate and activate plans to balance short-term commitments and long-term growth
  • Problem Solving & Analytics – Trend recognition, action plan development and execution
  • Proven Influential leadership – Organizational and cross-functional influence
  • Strong Communication skills and ability to translate strategy into execution.
  • Multi-channel growth outlook and balanced approach to win across the portfolio
  • US work authorization and must have a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5 years of experience with distributor and operator ownership in the Foodservice Distribution landscape
  • Influence & negotiations skills (internal and external)
  • Track record of winning beyond current job scope
  • HQ experience in a cross-functional role (Sales Operations, Marketing, Customer Operations etc.)

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $104700.00 - $157200.00 / Annually. At General Mills we strive for each employee's pay at any point in their career to reflect their experiences performance and skills for their current role. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifictions, etc. As such, pay for the succesful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
