Job Overview

The role will be responsible to partner with the Sales / Trade Marketing /Category Teams in US / International markets and Trade Finance groups.

The team member will independently build a seamless rapport with the point of contact overseas, address and initiate business requests, establish solutions through sophisticated reporting/tool building and superior presentations/visuals. The work will be sent with actionable analysis that showcases depth & breadth of business acumen.

The role includes trade fulfillment, enabling assortment and trade optimization strategies, competitive intelligence, recommending merchandising & pricing scenarios via various data modelling & analytical techniques either independently or through collaboration of cross-team peers.

Job Responsibilities

70% of Time

Business Analysis & Analytics

Master and own the monthly deliverables in the form of reports & presentations and send quality output in a timely manner with upgrades

Design superlative templates, Develop and execute dashboards/ tools in a turn-key scalable format

Own development of best-in-class reports, tools and customized shelving/assortment plans while finding synergies ad avoid redundancy

Work alongside of peers and inculcate best practices and elevate the team’s ability to tackle business questions with value adds

Demonstrate an analytical bend of mind in all tasks/projects/collaborations

Distill actionable insights from the data to offer client ready business recommendations by identifying meaningful customer indicators & trends

Actively builds & proliferates trade & category management knowledge & principles

Confidently present category and trade dynamics to stakeholders and rationalize techniques and model fit

Showcase thought leadership; look for ways to integrate better business solutions

Anticipate customer needs based on business trends and previous projects

3-4 years of relevant Business Reporting, Analytics & Visualization experience in CPG (or related) industry, Data Modelling preferred

Specific Job Experience or Skills Needed

Experience with market data analysis tools is required (experience working with ACNielsen and IRI data preferred.)

Experience in analysis data and applying analytical techniques (preferred)

Experience with Planogram building software (ProSpace or Apollo) is preferred

MS Excel (incl. VBA) & Tableau proficiency - preparing dynamic dashboards and working through large volumes of data effectively

Agility to learn new databases, tools, platforms on the fly and implement in real time

Exceed internal and external customer timelines and expectations

Strong command over oral and written English

Multitasking ability - work on a host of tools/databases and softwares/platforms effectively to manifest superior results
