Job Overview



  • The Analyst – Data & Analytics is a critical member of the HR Reporting Services team that provides expertise in workforce data, reporting and analysis for workforce initiatives. This role supports business needs by ensuring the right data, metrics and reporting is leveraged to drive better business decisions and supports efforts to standardize and optimize reports and metrics globally.
  • A successful Analyst – Data & Analytics leverages a deep understanding of Workday and ServiceNow data, as well as other HR related data to deliver value-added reporting solutions for HR and business users.  This requires a proven ability to extract, manipulate, synthesize, and translate complex information from a variety of sources in an easy, effective format that is audience appropriate using Workday, ServiceNow, Tableau, and other tools.  Leverages expertise to consult on data needed for analytics by closely collaborating with HR Teams, Analytic Consultants and Data Scientists.


  • Partner with stakeholders to understand report requirements and ensure results meet the business needs.
  • Support HR Reporting governance processes and ensure governance standards are followed. 
  • Drive standard interpretation, output and use of workforce data; communicate data nuances that impact interpretation. 
  • Function as the HR workforce data expert with the ability to consult and guide customers on HR data. 
  • Discern opportunities to get in front of needs and provide proactive and scalable reporting solutions. 

Tableau (50%)

  • Utilize various analytical methods and tools such as data mining, macros, and R-Python to build Tableau data sources with data from ServiceNow, external websites, and other sources.
  • Blend data from multiple sources to create reports and dashboards for the business that display key metrics and trends over time.
  • Understand Tableau functionality to create powerful drilldowns on reports and dashboards, build calculated fields for additional analysis, and setup filters and parameters.
  • Develop user-friendly tools to automate data reporting processes such as monthly PowerPoints.

ServiceNow (30%)

  • Create dashboards and reports on KPIs and metrics to help increase quality and reduce the costs of service delivery.
  • Use analytical tools to understand ServiceNow data more deeply and help customers see case trends, common case topics, etc.
  • Analyze ServiceNow data for business users to help recommend process improvement opportunities.

Workday (10%)

  • Understand Advanced, Matrix, Trended, and Composite reports to develop, test, and deploy new and enhanced reports.
  • Leverage calculated fields and Workday’s business objects to recommend and build the most appropriate solutions.
  • Deeply understand the data and how business processes influence it to ensure the right data is leveraged in deliverables.
  • Design and develop dashboards that clearly and concisely group key workforce metrics for customers.

Other (10%)

Utilize VBA programming in Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook to help automate data workflows
