Job Overview
- Responsible for Supporting, Documenting, and enhancing QAD ERP Processes for India
- Setup workflow in QAD based on documented processes
- Understand, document and Provide Training to new users for the Business function
- Requires trouble shooting and providing Level 1 support services to business to overcome problems.
- Learn QAD progress, Dot Net Programming Languages
- Develop Queries/reports for the Business in SQL, Progress 4GL Languages
- Provide Weekend Level 1 support to the Business Teams

Minimum Degree Requirements: Bachelors
Preferred Degree Requirements: Masters

Experience

Specific Job Experience or Skills Needed
• Provide level 1,2 support for the ERP systems used by GMI
• Diagnose problems and restore service promptly to GMI system users.
• Work with system users, other members of the IT Department, software vendors, and service providers in project environments and to resolve problems.
• Carry out assigned activities during system releases, system upgrades and the application of ERP system Fixes.
• Manage lock out situations in ERP
• Use continuous improvement (CI) principles to put in place solutions to prevent re-occurrences of issues and business downtime
• Document resolved Issues to create a repository of Correct Business process
• Partner with the key business contacts to understand business issues, collaborate with other IT Members opportunities and take initiative to implement processes
• Liase with IMDM team to debug and resolve QAD queries.

Required Skills:
• Ability to Grasp ERP concepts
• Ability to Understand ERP Programming concepts
• Ability to Understand Business Flows
• Ability to communicate concepts and take lead in learning, Training, supporting New Technical concepts
• Working Knowledge of SQL, Python or Node JS is preferred
