The Senior Business Security Specialist coordinates the Information Security process on behalf of the Internal Support Division by ensuring all Information Security requirements and documents are complete and up to date. Also, Project Management support for the Internal Support Division is provided to include monitoring the progress of several projects and overseeing activities of team members across the Division and the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. You will report to the assistant manager within our division.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all information security requirements and documentation are completed and maintained for all systems used by the Internal Support Division.
  • Support security assessments on products and tools to be used within the Internal Support Division.
  • Manage multiple project plans for information system security reviews.
  • Collaborate with team members on purchasing and implementing new commercial off the shelf (COTS) applications to ensure information security documentation is complete.
  • Be a backup for submitting and monitoring all Division TAM, ServiceNow, and Fed Identity request and escalations.
  • Understand Division business operations and local/System IT to provide consultation and guidance. Be a change champion for Division technical projects, hardware/software changes and communicate changes to the entire Division.
  • Manage Internal Support technical projects including:
    • Create project schedules.
    • Gather requirements.
    • Provide status updates to management.
    • Direct the ISPS Division task activities of the project team members to achieve milestones.
    • Oversee projects by identifying and evaluating the issues for resolution or escalation.
    • Share meeting results and action items with team and partners.
    • Contribute to creation and maintenance of overall division project management structure including documentation and process.
    • Manage the creation of required documentation to provide a reference for the project.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, with a major or specialized courses in Information Technology, business administration or commensurate experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Candidates with less experience may be considered at a lower job grade and pay range.
  • Experience leading multiple competing projects and deadlines such as Risk Assessments and Access Management Reviews.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office.
  • Experience presenting information to groups, answering questions, and facilitating discussions.
  • Capability to analyze complex business issues and identify, design, and implement recommendations.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) is nice to have.
  • Travel up to 5%

Salary: $105,000 - $115,000
