As the Facilities Assistant Manager of Phoenix Facilities Management, you will be responsible for providing leadership to the engineering staff, for directing all aspects of the team, including managing and developing staff. You will also be responsible for directing all aspects of building operations. The Supervisor will require an understanding of project management and strategic thinking. The candidate must have the ability to effectively communicate and interact across the organization to make a positive impact. This position will require active engagement with building engineers to establish respect and rapport through working alongside or independently as needed, in performing the inspection, operation, troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance of building systems. Your skills and expertise as a customer-focused strategic leader, collaborator, and innovator will be key to managing the various responsibilities at both the Branch and District levels.
Responsibilities:
Assists Facilities Manager in at least one function within the Facilities Department; Planning and Project Management, Engineering, Custodial
Assists Facilities Manager with the implementation of tasks and practices that result in a safe work environment for staff and the Bank
Ensures processes are in place to comply with all local, federal regulations, permitting and other external entity recommendations applicable to the Bank are carried out properly
Assists Manager with input to strategic direction for local team that aligns with Group strategic direction and communicates to local team
Manages a cohesive customer oriented proactive team that employs a preventative and predictive maintenance for building equipment and that incorporates customer requested work orders
Leads complex infrastructure and customer projects from planning through completion, covering all aspects of project management
Manages staff to ensure sound day-to-day operations/activities and holds staff accountable to ensure continuity of business operations
Participates in the selection, development, and evaluation of direct reports to ensure the efficient operation of the function and building bench strength for succession
Ensuring staff’s understanding of building operations, facilitates inspection of building for potential issues or defects and manages corrective measures
Requirements:
College degree or equivalent work experience, or advanced/specialty degree if on highly technical job assignment.
Typically 5+ years of relevant experience in a technical field or in complex/multiple areas of critical facilities operations. 3+ years of experience leading teams
Candidate must possess and demonstrate a dynamic ability to manage multiple and competing priorities associated with people management, operations management, and project management
Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices and bank policies and procedures; resolves a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways.
Analytical planning, work management, team motivation and development, communication skills and leadership ability
General knowledge and understanding of typical building systems included but not limited to boilers, chillers, AC units, humidifiers, compressors, condensers, evaporators, fans, pumps, piping, motors, electric and pneumatic controls, valves, variable frequency drives, PLCs, building automation system and other apparatus used in the distribution of heated, chilled, domestic or processed water and air
Ability to read and interpret schematics and drawings
Strong knowledge of Service Request Management Process
Understands Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Policy Compliance
Experience with Problem Management Process
Preferred Skills:
Technical certificates/journeyman and project management experience/certifications a plus
Subject matter knowledge in one or more associated building systems/functions

Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00AM-4:00PM.
Base Salary Range: Min: $68,100 - Mid: $88,500 - Max: $108,900 (Location: Phoenix)
Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
