• Create newsletter and website content, social media posts, and event invitations.

• Coordinate the distribution of targeted communications and materials.

• Identify and research business leaders for direct outreach.

• Support event planning and production.

• Review and analyze performance metrics relevant to projects.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Ideal candidate is a self-starter who is persistent with figuring out problems and asking for help when needed.

• Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.

• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Residency

• Junior or Senior standing in a U.S. community college or university program

• Available to work in a hybrid work environment.

• Ability to work 40 hours per week throughout the duration of the approximately 10-week internship program.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Candidates should have an affinity for public service and a strong desire to learn more about the mission of the Federal Reserve.

• Strong interest in community engagement and promoting economic participation for all groups.

• Some familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Experience with or an interest in learning web-based systems that support relationship management, event registration, e-mail marketing, and website design.

• Experience with or an interest in learning photo/image editing software.

• Experience with or an interest in learning how to develop reporting dashboards.

Hourly Range: Min: $22.00 - Mid: $24.00 - Max: $28.00 (Location: San Francisco)

Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
