POSITION/PROJECT OVERVIEW
This position provides an opportunity to develop a broad range of skills and knowledge of tools that will help you prepare for a successful career in Communications. You will work across the External Communications team on projects requiring review and recommendations, content strategy and project management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Management: Partner with the design and internal communications team to help manage the Employee Appreciation Week project.
Website and Digital Assets: Manage, rename, and tag assets in our Media Valet to ensure consistency. Review external website and provide recommendations on pages that could use new imagery. Help manage deadlines, track outstanding deliverables, and provide feedback to help streamline and/or clarify the project tasks and deliverables.
Content Strategy: Partner with web and content strategists to develop the content strategy for Social Holiday Cards to connect upcoming holidays to the work of the Bank in ways that are meaningful and relevant to the intended audiences.
REQUIREMENTS:
U.S. Citizen or Permanent Residency
Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing in a 2 or 4-year degree program
Ability to work 40 hours week throughout the duration of the approximately 10 - week internship program.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
In addition to a desire to learn, grow, and contribute, the candidate must demonstrate strong written and verbal communications skills. The ideal intern will be proficient with Microsoft Office programs and comfortable working with or learning tools such as the Asana project management software. An understanding of the role social media and an external website in positioning and brand and demonstrating customer relevance is a plus.
Hourly Range: Min: $22.00 - Mid: $24.00 - Max: $28.00 (Location: San Francisco)
Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
