What we do:

As a member of the development sub chapter of supporting the Markets business domain, the area responsible for Trading Desk Decision Support Applications and Reference Rates production, you will lead the Payments development team in support of Markets’ operations execution. You will be part of an agile squad that requires close collaboration with other members of the technology team, business users, and other development squad members.

Your role as a Java Software Solutions SWIFT/Payment Systems - Specialist:

A member of the squad is responsible for the delivery of business value working directly with the business area. Developers on the squad are expected to deliver, in a fast-paced environment integrations and workflows for their payment product.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for a lead developer who has experienced success across several Payment Systems implementations. Just as important we are looking for candidates who have demonstrated a willingness to contribute across multiple development areas and technologies.

Qualifications for these include and not limited to:

  • BS in MIS, CS or similar field

  • Expert background in designing and implementing Integrations and Workflows for Payment systems utilizing Java EE and Spring. Experience with SWIFT and ISO20022 is REQUIRED

  • Strong analytical and communication skills

  • Ability to design and implement interfaces by incorporating established best practices.

  • Experience using Continuous Integration and Deployment tools such as Gitlab/Jenkins, etc.

  • Experience with FIX is a PLUS.

  • Ability to apply Design Patterns and Enterprise Integration Patterns accordingly

  • Experience with Agile methodology

  • Experience building decision support applications for operations and analytics in the financial industry.

  • Required: Knowledge and use of Test Driven Development AND Behavior Driven Development (TDD/BDD). Experience on the implementation and configuration of Payment Systems (e.g. Fedwire or other payment solutions) and SWIFT Network connectivity (GTX/Alextree).

  • Required Technologies: Spring (Data, MVC, Security, Core, etc.), App/Web server(Tomcat, JBoss/Wildfly, Fuse, WebSphere, etc.), RDBMS(Oracle, MySQL), Apache Camel, Docker and AWS services (IAM, S3, CloudFront, Secrets Manager, EC2, ECS, ALB, RDS, Elasticache, MKS, AmazonMQ)

Salary Range: $134400 - $216000 / year
