With support, you will participate on IT audits and special projects of varying complexity and risk. May administratively lead IT audits planned by senior staff. Under guidance, assess the overall condition of operations, evaluate risk, prepare well-documented written work papers, and communicate audit findings and recommendations. May participate on System projects, workgroups, competency centers, and knowledge forums. Be an audit liaison to assigned departments. May assist on strategic business, administrative or analytical projects. Follow department policies and procedures. You will report to the AVP of Internal Audit.

You will be considered for the IT Auditor or Senior IT Auditor based on your qualifications.*

Responsibilities:

  • Lead or participate on planned information technology (IT) and project audits of varying complexity and risk.

  • When leading an audit, communicate audit results to Senior Management. Annually update business area risk assessments using a risk-based focus. Proficient in performing audit steps and procedures in accordance with the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing. Perform follow-up on reported findings and document results.

  • Be an audit liaison for assigned departments through collaboration with management and staff in assigned areas of the Bank. Develop an operational understanding of assigned functional areas of the Bank and maintain strong liaison relationships with management and staff.

  • Participate in projects initiated by the Audit Competency Centers (ACC) and participate in competency and knowledge forums. May participate on other District or Federal Reserve System projects and initiatives.

  • Demonstrate a detailed level of knowledge of IT operations and IT concepts, risk assessment practices and internal control systems for assigned areas of the Bank. Demonstrate intermediate knowledge around General IT Controls.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree or 4 years equivalent experience

Experience: 2 or more years *(5 or more years for the Senior IT Auditor)

Travel: May travel up to 20% of time

Knowledge Areas:

Certifications/Licenses:

An industry recognized Audit or Banking industry certification and SAFR are required (Note: SAFR can be obtained within designated timeframe post-employment)

Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of Windows, Firewall, Routers, Oracle, SQL, Remote Access Systems, Systems Development, Application Security, Identity and Access Management, Management, Database Management Systems, Privileged Access, Center for Internet Security Critical Security Controls, Automated Audit Tools.

  • Knowledge of System Development Life Cycle methodologies.

  • Knowledge of IT Frameworks: COBIT , COSO, NIST-800-53, ISO 27001, ISO 22301 and GAPPI

  • Experience in Power BI, SQL, VBA, SharePoint or Tableau

  • Familiarity or experience with RPA or AI
